The best start is for us to have a meeting to let me see the garden and discuss with you what you want to get out of your new garden including any likes or dislikes so it can be best suited to you. A Site Survey will be the next stage. This will allow me to measure the site, see what the soil is like, take note of the orientation and exposure of the site and list any plants that are to be kept, moved or removed. Services such as manhole covers, over head cables and pipes will the plotted on the plan. Next, I will draw up scale Sketches with various ideas that I feel will suit the garden and your individual requirements. I will then present you with these at another meeting and talk you through the plans discussing anything that you may want to change or any ideas that you have had since our last meeting. After a plan has been chosen, the next step is costing. Costing is done depending on whether you want instant interest or if you are happy to let the plants naturally fill out there given space. Planting Plans are then drawn up depending on how 'full' you require the garden to be. Other factors will also be costed in. You will then receive a typed price break down of the plan which again can be discussed if required. After all has been finalised, the process of putting the plan on the ground can start. |
